My path into data was not traditional. I started my career as a Mechatronics Engineer and worked as a Site Electrical Engineerin Dubai, After facing career uncertainty, I explored web development during the COVID lockdown and discovered my passion for data. Through self-learning, experimentation, and continuous growth, I transitioned into analytics and data engineering.
At Correlation One, I served as Head Teaching Assistant for a USAID-funded program that trained 1,200+ learners across the MENA region. This experience strengthened my belief in sharing knowledge and using technology to create meaningful impact.
Today, as a full-time Data Analytics Engineer at Opensooq, I build scalable data solutions, automate workflows, and focus on making analytics more reliable and actionable.
I hold the MIT MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science and the AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate certification, strengthening my foundation in analytics, automation, and cloud-based data engineering.
Beyond my professional role, I enjoy building public data products and sharing practical resources. My latest project, PyPIMap, is an interactive platform for exploring the Python package ecosystem through data-driven insights and automated daily updates.
